Puppy Reservation, Deposit & Sales Agreement

This agreement outlines the policies and terms for reserving and purchasing a Cane Corso puppy from Legions Cane Corsos. Please read carefully before placing a deposit.

By submitting a deposit, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to all terms contained in this agreement.

1. Purpose of Deposit

A $500 non-refundable deposit is required to reserve a puppy.

  • Deposits secure your place in the current or upcoming litter.
  • Deposits are applied toward the final purchase price.
  • Final purchase price may vary based on gender, lineage, and rarity of color.

The deposit compensates the seller for administrative time, reservation services, and removal of the puppy from active availability to other potential buyers. Because opportunities to sell the reserved puppy to other buyers are declined once reserved, the deposit is non-refundable except as expressly stated in this agreement.

2. Reservation Details

  • Gender preference may be indicated (Male, Female, or First Available).
  • Color preference may be indicated; however, availability is not guaranteed.
  • Purchase type must be specified as Pet Only or Breeding Rights.

Buyer understands that puppies are living animals and that size, temperament, coloration, structure,
working ability, and future development cannot be guaranteed. Any estimates or observations are opinions based on experience and lineage and do not constitute guarantees.

3. Payment Terms

  • Final payment must be made in cleared funds prior to pickup or delivery.
  • Accepted payment methods include cash, cashier’s check, approved electronic payment, or other agreed methods.
  • Failure to complete payment by the agreed date results in forfeiture of the deposit and reservation.

4. Pickup Policy

  • Puppies must be picked up no later than 10 weeks of age unless otherwise agreed in writing.
  • Boarding beyond the pickup deadline will incur a fee of $150 per week.
  • Failure to pick up within 14 days without prior arrangement results in forfeiture of deposit and puppy.

5. If a Puppy Becomes Unavailable

If the reserved puppy becomes unavailable due to unforeseen circumstances, including illness,
injury, or breeder decision regarding the puppy’s well-being, the buyer may choose:

  1. Full refund of the deposit; or
  2. Transfer of the deposit to a future litter.

6. Breeding Rights

  • Buyers purchasing with breeding rights agree to responsible breeding practices and health testing.
  • Unauthorized breeding under Pet Only status constitutes breach of agreement.

Unauthorized breeding will result in $5,000 liquidated damages, termination of health guarantees,
and possible legal action.

7. Health Guarantee & Veterinary Inspection

  • Puppies are sold healthy with age-appropriate vaccinations and deworming.
  • Buyer must obtain a licensed veterinary exam within 72 hours of pickup or delivery.
  • Failure to complete exam within 72 hours voids this portion of the guarantee.

This guarantee does not cover conditions caused by environmental stress, parasites, injury,
improper care, poor nutrition, accidents, or circumstances outside the seller’s control.

8. Ongoing Health Guarantee

  • One-year guarantee against life-threatening hereditary genetic conditions.
  • Diagnosis must be confirmed by a licensed veterinarian.
  • Seller reserves the right to request a second veterinary opinion.

Guarantee becomes void if the puppy is neglected, abused, underfed, overexercised during development, or denied proper veterinary care.

9. Return Policy

  • Seller must be notified immediately if buyer cannot keep the puppy.
  • Puppy may not be rehomed or surrendered without written seller consent.
  • Puppy must be returned at buyer’s expense.
  • No refunds after the 72-hour inspection period unless agreed in writing.

10. Transportation / Shipping

  • Buyer is responsible for transportation arrangements unless agreed otherwise.
  • Risk transfers once puppy is picked up by buyer or authorized agent.

11. Care & Welfare

Buyer agrees to provide proper housing, nutrition, training, socialization, and veterinary care
at all times. Failure to provide humane and appropriate care may void health guarantees.

12. Buyer Acknowledgment and Electronic Acceptance

By submitting a deposit or completing payment through this Website, the buyer confirms they have read, understood, and agree to all terms outlined in this agreement.

Submission of a deposit constitutes electronic acceptance of this agreement and confirms a binding reservation commitment.

13. Legal Jurisdiction & Dispute Resolution

This agreement shall be governed by the laws of the State of Florida. Any disputes arising from this agreement shall be resolved exclusively within the seller’s county and jurisdiction.

Buyer agrees to be responsible for reasonable legal fees incurred by the seller in enforcing this agreement, where permitted by law.
